Sequins 3 Ways for the Holidays
With holiday parties currently underway and NYE celebrations quickly approaching, I thought it would be pretty cool to show you some outfit inspirations that I considered for my list of holiday events! To me I think sequins screams holiday szn and it drips black girl magic, especial gold sequins. However, it can become overbearing when done the same way. So, I decided to show you 3 different ways you can wear sequins throughout the holidays. Now, if you're like me and on a slight budget, these looks that I'll show you are all under $100! Majority of the main pieces I actually thrifted at my local Goodwill. Just because it is the holidays doesn't mean you have to break your pockets to look good! Also, all looks are paired with new 91+N "Graham" bracelet!
Event: Office Christmas Party
When you're looking to keep it simple but want to add a hint of spice on the toes, throw on a solid color dress, preferably a holiday color, and let your shoes do the talking! Being that this is a function with co-workers, you want to keep in mind the length and fit of your dress. Make sure it doesn't come above the knees and while a midi is every girls favorite, be sure it doesn't hug too tight! In terms of the accessories, a gaudy statement necklace will do the trick!

Event: Christmas Party w. Friends
When you're partying with your friends for the holidays, with no plus one, you still to make a statement, just not as loud. Throwing on a sequins skirt with a solid color, flirty blouse and some fun shoes will get the job done! The blouse gives your ensemble a hint of spice. But, the form fitting skirt takes the cake, because it allows you to show off the work you've been doing in gym!

Event: NYE Celebration
When you are looking to make a statement and stand out in the crowd, an all sequins dress is definitely the way to go. It is an attention grabber and a possible conversation starter. The thing to keep in mind when wearing a complete sequins ensemble, is to keep everything else very simple and minimalist. From the necklace, to the bangles and shoes, you want to make sure they are simplistic so that all eyes can focus on the main attractions, the dress!
