Music these days has developed to be more about the beat than the lyrics themselves. You find more and more artists clinging to catchy hooks or choruses with no true meaning and all you’re left to do is vibe to beat. However, there are rare instances where you come across music that touches your soul as it did back in the day. This is the type of music that evokes change and causes you to think deeper than the surface. The #endorsedbykrys feature of the month is an underground artist who hasn’t conformed to societies current definition of music. If you could mix the soft sounds of Sade with a hint of Badu expressionism and a dab of Skateboard P fashion, you would get the one and only Makeda Iroquois, Singer/Songwriter. Makeda began to invest in her passion for music as a freshman in college and ever since she’s made her presence known!
